Environmental Impact Assessments
The purpose of the EIA is to ensure that decision-makers consider environmental impacts before deciding whether to proceed with new projects together with the necessary data collection required to make informed decisions.

Our Lab capabilities allow for the analysis of environmental and petrochemical samples. Parameters include and is not limited to: Heavy Metals, Nutrients, Organics and Inorganics. We also use Certified Standard Reference Solutions for calibration as well as guidelines for obtaining or working towards accurate results.
Geographic Information systems
Our GIS database has hundreds of datasets with information on marine, terrestrial and coastal regions of the Caribbean. Metadata ranges from historical natural disaster data, to previous land and marine environmental studies.
Benthic Fauna analysis

We provide specific biological analytical lab services for categorization and identification of benthic fauna down to species level. Statistical tools are applied to the biological analytical data collected and used for specific land, marine studies and reports.
OIL DISPERSION MODELING
ESL together with Tetra Tech and Woods Hole Group also provide sediment transport and oil spill dispersion modeling. Tetra Tech and Woods Hole Group develop and use computer models and simulations to answer interdisciplinary questions related to marine and freshwater environments.

Our Geophysical and Geotechnical capabilities allows us to carry out acoustic seabed mapping and seabed characterization surveys with the use of a various techniques and technologies to meet client needs, including with the use of a single beam acoustic device called QTC.
STACK eMMISSION tESTING, CARBON CAPTURE
We also provides Stack Emission Testing (SET). We have forged relations withinternational firms in this field and we are able to provide a series of US EPA methods.
ESL also uses a newer method of stack analysis which reduces human error and the time taken to carry out stack emission testing can be reduced by up to 40 %.
